Acupuncture
Find grounding with acupuncture, a therapeutic practice that stimulates the body’s natural healing by activating specific points along energy pathways. By restoring balance, releasing tension, and addressing imbalances, acupuncture promotes relaxation, reduces pain, and supports your overall vitality.
Acupuncture is a time-honored therapeutic practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.
It is designed to restore balance and harmony within the body. By understanding how imbalances and blockages in energy pathways (meridians) affect the body holistically, acupuncture works to address both the root causes and symptoms of various conditions.
Each treatment is tailored to your unique health history, focusing on restoring the flow of energy (Qi) to promote healing. An acupuncturist uses fine, sterile needles inserted at specific points to stimulate the body’s natural self-regulation processes. This gentle yet effective modality supports pain relief, improved function, + enhanced overall wellness.
Acupuncture offers the body a natural opportunity to recalibrate, heal, and thrive.

What to expect in an Acupuncture session
During an acupuncture session, you can expect a calming and personalized experience. Here’s what typically happens:
Consultation the session begins with a conversation about your health history, lifestyle, and current concerns. The acupuncturist may ask about physical symptoms, emotional well-being, and sleep or digestion patterns to develop a holistic understanding of your needs.
Assessment the acupuncturist might examine areas of pain, check your pulse, and look at your tongue. These observations help identify imbalances and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
Treatment you’ll lie on a comfortable treatment table in a quiet, relaxing room. The acupuncturist may use pillows or blankets to ensure you’re fully at ease. The acupuncturist will gently insert very fine, sterile needles at specific points on your body. You may feel a mild sensation, like a slight pinch or tingling, but it should not be painful.
Relaxation Period once the needles are in place, you’ll rest for a period of time. Many people find this time deeply relaxing, often experiencing a sense of calm or even falling asleep. Following this, the needles are then carefully removed.
Aftercare Discussion the acupuncturist may share observations from the session and provide recommendations for self-care or follow-up treatments.
After your session, you might feel relaxed, energized, or notice a reduction in symptoms. It’s common for benefits to build over a series of treatments as your body adjusts and heals.
